How will we evaluate GATE identification processes, programmes and/or provisions?

A crucial component in establishing comprehensive and enduring provision for gifted and talented students is the development of a relevant school policy.

Any school policy should be underpinned by:

  • New Zealand Curriculum
  • Culturally responsive classrooms
  • Multi dimensional approach
  • National Administration Guidelines

The policy should be developed through consultation both inside and outside the school.
