INSPIRE Festival 2017 – Junior and Intermediate

INSPIRE is a celebration of Science-Technology-engineering-Art-Maths and Social Science (STEAMS) innovation and the positive possibilities that the future holds for those who reach for them.

This year we will have over 30 speakers over the 2 day Festival.

Each 1 hour workshop strives to incorporate at least two aspects of STEAMS in a dynamic and engaging and often hands-on way. INSPIRE Festival is for everyone who wants to think dynamically and creatively about their future

Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Auckland EDUC 738 Gifted Learners: Meeting their Needs

Location: Online and a 2 day intensive the weekend of 12th/13th August in Auckland

We are pleased to announce that the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Auckland has EDUC 738 Gifted Learners: Meeting their Needs, which is open for enrolments for semester Two. This is a blended course with a 2 day intensive the weekend of 12th/13th August. The rest of the content will be delivered online from late July and covers approximately term 3 of the school year. The content will be personalised to suit the interests of students enrolled.

Interactive hands-on creativity with electronics.
Learn how to interface computers with the real world.
Starting with the basics of electronics, and progressing to more complex projects, our CreativeHub sessions will help you control the physical world with sensors and actuators.

In light of the recent announcement by the government to increase funding to schools in the field of robotics and other ICT disciplines, I’d like to remind you about my tutoring availability.

My students won the Robocup National Championship in their categories last year.

There are still some spots available in TERM3 for tutoring in the subjects:
