giftEDnz Conference 2012

The first national conference organised by giftEDnz is called Giftedness Unfurled: Fostering Best Practice in Aotearoa New Zealand and it has its focus firmly on New Zealand practices in gifted and talented education. Here is a chance to hear what other professionals throughout the country are doing in their classrooms, centres, tertiary institutions and to share and adapt best practices for teaching and supporting our gifted students.
We encourage you to consider presenting a paper at the conference. The closing date for submissions is 14th November. There are several options for presentations. You could choose a workshop style presentation, a poster, or a Round Table presentation in which following a brief summary of your topic, you can talk with others in a relaxed format around a table. There will also be a scheduled time for educators from the different sectors to get together informally and network with each other.
