Te Toi Tupu – Leading Learning Network has been awarded a Contract for Gifted and Talented Education PLD by the Ministry of Education for English-medium schools (Y1-13) in the North Island for 2012-2013. Helping Gifted Learners Soar: Kia Rewa ki Runga is designed to raise the achievement of all gifted learners, with a particular focus on gifted Māori and Pasifika students, gifted students with special education needs, gifted students who are underachieving in the regular school system and gifted students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
